"Investors were nervous at the start of the day, unsure if the market could convincingly surpass 1300. Momentum started to build by mid-morning...this will probably continue when trading resume later," dealer says; gains on Wall Street, regional markets along with optimism Bank Negara annual report due out Wednesday likely to contain bullish view on economy lending support, though absence of strong buying cues may limit upside, dealers say; tip KLCI to remain in 1295-1305 range this afternoon. Among gainers, Telekom Malaysia (4863.KU) +3.7% at MYR3.40, IOI (1961.KU) +0.6% at MYR5.40; KNM (7164.KU) bucked broader uptrend to fall 2.6% to 75 sen as talks for the sale of its assets drag on.
